Your desk gives you space for reading and preparation. The kitchen lets you eat around the programme; two shared bathrooms and the utility room are part of everyday life. After an evening on stage, your room is your own space; your script and notes can be ready at the desk for the next rehearsal day.

Hamburg has many stages: Thalia’s venue at Alstertor and its theatre in Gaußstraße in Altona, for example, are at different addresses. Rehearsals may be somewhere else again. Plan your journeys for the actual engagement. If a guest contract might be extended, tell us early: we discuss dates and availability personally without assuming an extension is possible.
